Melissa McCarthy's secret to losing weight was revealed ... and all you have to do is not think about it! So says Melissa McCarthy, who stopped stressing her weight, and managed to lose more than 50 lbs!
The 45-year-old actress on the Gilmore Girls admitted that the key to her transformation was to leave the junk food for a carbohydrate-free diet and, above all, to relax with her weight. "I really stopped worrying about it. I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, doing something more ... I feel there is something in relaxing and not being so nervous and tense in that, strangely, it worked." she told Life & Style.
The five rules of your diet are very simple: 1- Eat lots of fiber 2- Leave the carbs and the sugar 3- Every time you crave something, drink water. 4- Take two cups of green tea in the morning to improve metabolism. 5- Eat foods like chicken, organic eggs, fish and turkey.
Melissa also practiced Martial Arts for the Spy movie, something that benefited her weight loss, besides combining it with jump rope and abs. "It's challenging. It's like a big marathon or something you do not think about, but when you're done, you say 'my God.' You feel proud of yourself for overcoming it, " added the celebrity.
